Job Summary
Instigate, calculate, design, and monitor all foundry methods while reporting on capacity constraints and recommending solutions. Provide technical advice to improve quality systems, sample procedures, and casting yields through waste reduction and new technology introductions. Deliver technical assessments of foundry consumables and ensure method weights remain accurate for precise casting. Continuously improve production routes and methoding systems across the plant. This role offers tailored training, company-funded external qualifications, and a pension scheme with a 7% employer contribution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in similar foundry environment with involvement in Methoding
- Demonstrable understanding and hands on experience in planning workflow
- Good computer skills required (MS Office etc.)
- Strong communication skills
