Job Summary
Ensure Marine Tanks Terminal and Load Out Facility compliance with International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) regulations prior to crude oil export operations. Oversee security threat monitoring in conjunction with Tanga Port Authorities, Tanzanian Marine Police, and Government Security Forces. Prepare Port Facility Security Assessments and Terminal Security Plans for final approval. Deliver 24/7 maritime security cover for anchorages and shipping channels while conducting six monthly audits and vulnerability assessments of offshore assets. Provide counter-terrorism advice, training, and drills for private security providers and government forces. Monitor international and national maritime laws to ensure best practice and participate in emergency response and crisis management actions.
Required Qualifications
- Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)
- Ship Security Officer
- Maritime Counter Terrorism
- minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles within the Oil & Gas and/or construction sectors
- Team coordination and supervision
- Implementation of ISPS procedures
- Reporting and liaison with authorities
- Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
