Methods Agent (Fabricated Metal Parts)

In this role, you will manage change-management activities up to delivering the first unit and ensure adherence to the product development schedule with suppliers for the external manufacturing commodity; maintain supplier relationships to optimize quality, timing, and costs; manage and influence suppliers to achieve on-time delivery at the best possible cost; travel to supplier sites to validate manufacturing methods per Bombardier requirements; participate in cost-reduction initiatives; identify and participate in improvement projects (Kaizen/Workshops, Deep Dives) and maintain the business relationship with the supplier base; work closely with logistics planners to meet production requirements. You should have a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing machined or sheet metal parts, proficiency with Catia V5, SolidWorks, and TeamCenter; SAP familiarity; outside processing experience is a plus; aerospace experience is an asset; be bilingual in Spanish and English; be willing to travel to Mexican suppliers and hold a Canadian or U.S. travel visa is beneficial; be able to work on-site at the Querétaro facility at least two days per week when not travelling.
