Job Summary
Conduct water meter maintenance, including exchanges, repairs, leak remediation, service line cutoff repair/replacement, and meter relocations. Provide support to the Metering Department through meter reading, work order fulfillment, re-reads, and water service disconnections/reconnections. Follow city policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while performing other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma, plumbing experience, and a valid driver's license with a TCEQ Class D Water license or ability to obtain one within six months. Hourly rate up to $22.75.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in plumbing or similar technical roles requiring work with water systems
- Valid driver's license
- TCEQ License Class D Water or the ability to obtain within six months
