Job Summary
Meter reading and field operations for a DOT-regulated role. Responsibilities include pedestrian and AMR meter readings, leak survey and surveillance, handling field assignments such as two-person tasks, responding to wires down incidents, and general field collections. Requires Massachusetts driver’s license and approval to drive company trucks, pass a physical, assessments, and drug testing under DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA safety rules. Must have a high school education or equivalent and demonstrate mechanical aptitude, dependability, and good judgement.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Massachusetts Driver's License
- Capable of operating Company trucks
- Approved driver of Company trucks
- Pass Field Assessment Test
- Able to pass company physical and qualifying tests
- Meet DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA safety regulations for DOT-covered positions
- Good mechanical aptitude
- High degree of dependability and good judgement
- Subject to federal drug and alcohol regulations and testing
