Job Summary
Conduct accurate meter readings on customer premises, visually checking for service diversion and metering irregularities. Deliver company notices and safely navigate various terrains in all-terrain vehicles, including all-wheel or four-wheel drive models. Report findings and interact with customers while maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands. Requires a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record and the ability to operate safely in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record
- Ability to safely drive and walk in all types of weather over all types of terrain
- Must possess and use an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle to read meters
- Ability to successfully deal with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working overtime as needed
