Job Summary
Metals Processing Associate in a manufacturing/medical-device environment. Responsibilities include following cleaning and electropolishing processes for machined metals, monitoring inventory and reordering supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work area, completing production paperwork per GMP requirements, adhering to Quality System SOPs, GDP, ISO and FDA requirements, and utilizing PPE. Requires reading and interpreting instructions, familiarity with GMP/GDP/ISO/FDA standards, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Travel not required; role may require extended hours during peak periods. Education: high school diploma/GED required; technical associate degree preferred. 1-2 years of related experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Technical Associate Degree, preferred
- Ability to read/hear, interpret and understand instructions given verbally or written in English
- Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment, fast-paced environment while complying with Quality System SOP’s, work instructions, drawings, GMP, GDP, ISO and FDA requirements
- Experience in manufacturing practices or quality inspection work
- Exposure to using work instructions, reading drawings and using GMP, GDP, ISO and FDA requirements
- Medical device or FDA regulated industry experience preferred
- Good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiar with basic computer operations and operating systems
- Minimum Education Level: High School / GED
- Education Level Preferred: Technical Associate’s Degree (or equivalent degree)
- Equivalent Work Experience
- 1-2 years required length of service
- 3-5 years desired length of service
