Job Summary
Metallurgical Engineer role focusing on receiving inspection for complex metallurgical components (e.g., valves, seats), optimizing the incoming audit plan and metallurgical quality management, CTL quality-hold support, assembly shop problem support, supplier quality issue and process-improvement support, and cost-reduction/resourcing projects. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related field, with 1-5 years of met lab/metallurgical validation experience; familiarity with validation protocols, data analysis tools, and QA processes in manufacturing; strong documentation and communication skills in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, or a related field
- 1-5 years’ experience at met lab on metallurgical validation
- familiar with quality assurance processes in manufacturing
- experience managing multiple projects
- familiarity with validation protocols and data analysis tools
- good English speaking and reading skills
- knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
