Job Summary
Inspect, grade, sort, and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals while maintaining the work location in orderly condition. Input non-ferrous material codes and weights into the computer system, complete yard tickets for customers, and break down materials by commodity to remove non-conforming items. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shift. Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with every other Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Wage is $19.37 per hour. Applicants must pass a criminal background check with no adverse findings and possess one year of experience in a production, warehouse, or landscaping environment. Forklift or skid-steer operation experience is preferred.
