Job Summary
Follow detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings and utilize machinery such as CNC lasers, brakes, turrets, mills, and lathes to retrieve and manufacture components prior to assembly. Machine, file, bend, and smooth parts while verifying sizes and fitting tolerances to produce required quantities within established time and specifications. Measure finished parts with tape measures and calipers, maintain logs of units produced and errors, inspect equipment for proper setup, and report daily time and material usage. Ensure a clean, safe work area and comply with OSHA regulations. Perform basic adjustments and maintenance on tools and machines. Schedule is 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
- Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to read a tape measure, both imperial, and metric systems
- Must be able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 75lbs and maximum of 100lbs
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
- Must be able to read and write in English to fill out daily reports
- 5am -3:30pm Monday -Thursday
