Job Summary
Metal Roofing Estimator to convert architectural drawings and site data into precise 3D roof models using AppliCad Roof Wizard, generate material and flashing lists, and prepare customer estimates. Responsibilities include 3D modeling from PDFs/DWGs/images, accurate material takeoffs for metal panels and accessories, fabrication modeling to generate panel-cut lists, and coordinating with sales teams, project managers, and clients to verify specifications. Proficiency in Excel/Word and strong math/trigonometry skills are required, along with attention to detail and good communication.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the commercial and steel building construction
- Ability to read structural construction drawings a plus
- Great analytical skills and attention to detail
- Competency in the use of Excel, Word, and other software applications
- Critical thinking skills and ability to perform self-directed work
- Strong math skills including trigonometry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude with an understanding of the value of teamwork and outstanding customer service
