Job Summary
Omni Glass & Paint is seeking a Metal Panel Carpenter to join their skilled construction team. Responsibilities include following safety rules, reading blueprints, measuring and cutting metal panels, installing wall panels and insulation, inspecting panels, maintaining worksite records, and coordinating with other trades. Candidates must have a high school diploma and possess hands-on skills in metal fabrication tools, effective communication, and the ability to lift heavy materials. A valid driver's license is required, alongside experience in commercial carpentry and construction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to measure and cut metal and framing materials with precision
- Skilled use of hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication tools
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift 50+ lbs.
- Experience working on construction sites with multiple subcontractor trades
- Must be able to read a blueprint
- Must be able to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to work professionally with others
- Able to follow instructions
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2-5 years of commercial carpentry, façade installation, or related work.
