Job Summary
Set up and fit detailed parts on aircraft, aerospace and similar assemblies. Performs hand grinding, expanding and hand fitting to blueprint dimensions for heliarc tacking, welding and/or resistance welding. Aligns machined details or stampings preparatory to welding; trims, scribes, files or grinds parts to templates or scribed lines; sets up single jobs in assembly jig for welding; performs rework and related operations; maintains minimum output and quality; adheres to safety and quality procedures; participates in a collaborative team environment. Education/experience requires a High School diploma or GED or 3-6 months related training; annual target salary around $47,840; 2nd shift schedule; EOE. Trade Compliance notes and ITAR/EAR considerations are included in the role.
