Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, brakes, and welding equipment. Perform quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with dimensional and structural standards while maintaining and operating fabrication equipment safely. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects efficiently, troubleshooting challenges and optimizing workflow. This role supports the creation of durable, high-quality metal products that meet client and industry requirements across diverse applications in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating metal fabrication tools and machinery safely
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in welding or metal fabrication (e.g., AWS certification)
- Experience with CNC machinery and programming
- Familiarity with various metal types and their properties
- Ability to perform basic welding and assembly tasks
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
