Job Summary
Integrate and mend metals using advanced MIG and flux-cored welding strategies while deciphering technical documents to select appropriate techniques. Ensure all welds meet structural integrity standards through comprehensive inspections and uphold stringent safety practices during setup processes for welding tools and robotics. Initiate specialized apprenticeships or training sessions as needed and support quality assurance through rule compliance. Perform daily tasks involving regular lifting of 20 to 50 lbs, traversing 2-5 miles per shift, and tolerating environmental factors like temperature variability and noise. Possess necessary MIG welding certification, forklift and crane operations competence, and mastery of blueprint interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Competence in forklift and crane operations
- Interpretation of blueprints and mastery of tool applications
- Familiarity with both fractional and metric mathematical conversions
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent endorsed
- Necessary MIG welding certification
- Regular lifting capacity between 20 to 50 lbs
- Visual acuity of at least 20/30, adjustable via lenses
- Precision in manual dexterity for handling tools
- Tolerance to shift environmental factors like temperature variability, noise, and equipment-induced vibrations
- Capacity to traverse 2-5 miles in a given shift
