Job Summary
Operate plate roll, press brake, saw, drill press and other fabrication tools to produce quality components per blueprints and standard work. Read and follow job orders, inspect parts for defects, tag and stage parts, and communicate discrepancies to quality. Safely use cutting torches, hand tools, grinders and finishing tools; operate forklifts/hoists; maintain clean, safe work area; lift up to 50 lbs; wear PPE; work in hot/cold environments; overtime may be required. Follows procedures and ensures parts are ready for inspection and delivery through the finishing stages of fabrication in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a welding production plant with fabrication preferred
- High School/GED diploma preferred
- Fabrication technical training preferred
- Able to work overtime if needed
- MUST be dependable and provide references and good work history
