Job Summary
The Metal Fabrication/Machine Operator will produce parts and operate machines such as CNC Panel Bender, mechanical and hydraulic presses, spot welders, and more to fabricate metal components for the manufacturing process. This role includes loading and unloading materials, selecting software programs, conducting preventative maintenance, inspecting parts for defects, and training peers. Candidates should have technical training and experience with machining processes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate various machines including CNC Panel Bender and Presses
- Ability to load and unload materials with precision
- Capability to visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy
- Ability to train employees on procedures
- Ability to assist in defining work instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in metal fabrication or machine operation
- Experience with CNC machines
- Familiarity with machining processes and preventative maintenance
