Job Summary
Metal Fabrication & Assembly Technician 1 responsible for fabrication, assembly, material handling, and quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Based on experience, you will develop foundational skills or operate with greater independence in equipment setup, layout, and production execution. Key duties include fabricating and assembling parts, using hand tools and shop equipment safely, following prints and work instructions, maintaining a clean and safe work area, supporting material movement and inventory, achieving daily production goals, setting up and operating standard fabrication equipment, reading basic drawings and specifications, conducting routine quality checks, addressing minor production or equipment issues, and guiding less experienced team members. Career progression and on-the-job training are highlighted as part of the role.
