Job Summary
Metal Building Erector needed to assemble structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings. Responsibilities include erecting structural steel members, bar joists, decking, and pre-engineered panels; operating a boom lift and extendable forklift; reading blueprints to determine layout, quantities, and sizes of material; and performing additional duties as assigned. Must have construction-site experience, be physically fit, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be reliable and professional. Forklift experience is a plus. Position is on-site, Monday–Thursday, 7 am–5 pm, full-time, hourly. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this role does not qualify for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
Required Qualifications
- Construction job-site experience
- Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
- Comfortable with heights and weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to the job-site
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Not eligible for immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT)
