Job Summary
Conduct newborn screening, manage inpatient consults, and lead outpatient genetic clinics within multidisciplinary team settings. Deliver patient care and teach medical students, pediatric residents, and genetic counseling students. Engage in protected research time and intramural or extramural collaboration while developing programs across neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, and congenital anomalies. Join a practice with two full-time, two part-time geneticists, four genetic counselors, and a genetic counseling assistant, with a new multispecialty pediatric outpatient facility opening next year.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible Clinical and Metabolic Geneticist
- PhD laboratory geneticist
- California residency
