Job Summary
Conduct newborn screening, patient care, inpatient consults, and outpatient genetic clinics within multidisciplinary team settings. Teach medical students, pediatric and neurology residents, and genetic counseling students while managing research projects with protected time. Collaborate on intramural and extramural programs across neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, and congenital anomalies. Join a growing practice expanding into a new multispecialty pediatric outpatient facility and a state-of-the-art clinical genetic laboratory. Serve the Inland Empire and Southern California through a Level IV NICU and specialized centers for cystic fibrosis, hemoglobinopathies, and metabolic genetics.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible Clinical and Metabolic Geneticist
- PhD laboratory geneticist
- California residency
- newly trained or more experienced in metabolic genetics
- broad interests in all facets of clinical genetics and genomics
