Job Summary
Dismantle and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles safely and efficiently, removing and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer-approved standards and quality requirements. Collaborate closely with panel and paint technicians to complete repairs accurately while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional bodyshop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician, Vehicle Technician or Bodyshop Technician
- Experience working within an accident repair centre, bodyshop or similar automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and trim systems
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality repairs
- A professional approach with pride in your workmanship
Desired Qualifications
- ATA or IMI accreditation
