Mesquite: Instructional Aide

Plan and prepare instructional activities, materials, learning centers, and assessments. Provide whole group, small group, and one-to-one instruction in inclusion and pullout settings while conducting guided reading sessions and administering progress monitoring assessments. Maintain student lists, tracking forms, and informational reports. Collaborate with classroom teachers to set up the learning environment and manage student behavior according to campus procedures. Monitor students in various settings and provide effective instruction when the teacher is absent. Maintain confidentiality, participate in staff development, and fulfill extracurricular and committee duties. Requires Educational Aide certification, Highly Qualified status, and on-site regular attendance.
