Job Summary
Configure, program, test, and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using Visual Studio and Android platforms. Deploy and support MES tools on web servers and mobile devices while integrating and collecting machine data across manufacturing facilities. Develop reporting tools to provide actionable insights into production performance and assist in commissioning new facilities or upgrading existing systems. Troubleshoot system issues, maintain documentation for processes and configurations, and develop detailed software design specifications. Work closely with PLC Controls Engineers, Maintenance teams, IT Operations, and Plant Management to support continuous improvement initiatives and meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in MES, manufacturing, or industrial systems (preferred)
- Experience with application development (Visual Studio, Android, or similar)
- Exposure to PLC systems, data integration, and reporting tools
- Strong technical aptitude in system configuration, programming, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, performance, and service
- Self-starter with a results-driven, problem-solving mindset
- Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional skills
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and support critical systems as needed
