Merrill Market Client Relationship Manager

Job Summary

Lead the overall service delivery model for the market, driving responsible growth while minimizing regulatory and reputational risks. Manage Wealth Management Client Associates, operations support staff, and the branch operations department, overseeing daily operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Partner with market leadership, Financial Advisors, and client associates to facilitate daily business needs and execute market strategy plans. Coach teams to deliver a modern, digital-first service model, resolving complex escalated client and operational needs. Represent the office with clients, prospects, vendors, regulators, and legal counsel. Manage market expenses and coordinate referrals while supporting the development of Elite Growth Practice roles and Operations staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently hold FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65), Series 9 and 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses and Series 3, 31 licenses, if warranted
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements and corporate policies and procedures
  • Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.)
  • Prior trend analysis experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise and delegate
  • Self-motivated and client centric
  • 1st shift (United States of America)
  • 40 hours per week
