Job Summary
Merrill Wealth Management role in Stamford CT: provides tailored and personalized investment advice to high-net-worth clients, reviews goals, and prepares investment recommendations aligned with client objectives. Supports building a sustainable book of business, conducts client reviews and presentations, and leverages technology to drive growth. Partners with management to assess financial goals, engages in relationship management with affluent clients, and connects clients to core Banking, Investment, and Life Priority solutions. The position is located in-office in a Merrill branch; ongoing training and mentorship via the Advisor Development Program (ADP) path to grow into an independent advisor. Includes opportunities to work with both affluent and high-net-worth clients, develop a practice, and advance within Merrill Wealth Management. Must hold FINRA SIE and pursue Series 7 and 66 licenses; requires registration and adherence to SAFE Act requirements; strong emphasis on building relationships, regulatory due diligence, and delivering financial solutions to meet client needs. Pay ranges from $36.06 to $40.87 hourly, with benefits and incentive opportunities; located at 301 Tresser Blvd, Stamford, CT.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
- Series 7 license
- Series 66 license
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience
- 2+ years of experience in the investments industry
- Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within allotted program time
