Merrill Associate Client Relationship Manager

Job Summary
ACRM role to learn and support Merrill Wealth Management client service delivery, balancing risk and client expectations while developing the client experience across the Market. Responsibilities include promoting client satisfaction; reviewing and approving client documents and transactions when delegated; training and developing Market Client Associates and Service Support Staff; developing knowledge of Merrill products and services, trend analysis, risk assessment, human resources, and industry knowledge; participating in leadership activities and contributing to the delivery and management of client service. Requires strong client service and communication skills, regulatory/policy knowledge, and experience with investment products; formal licensing (Series 7/66 and related licenses) or equivalent, plus 3–5 years in financial services; ability to manage a team and coordinate funds/securities receipt and processing, wire/order processing, and document control.
Required Qualifications
- Series 7 (SIE, 7 Top-Off) AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses
- SIE strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services experience preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory, supervisory, and corporate policies and procedures
- Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations)
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize tasks
- Previous experience managing a team of at least 10 including the ability to monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise, and delegate
