Job Summary
Develop full-stack applications using React, NextJS, and NodeJS with MongoDB, handling both front-end and back-end development. Integrate with external APIs including Twilio, Sendgrid, Stripe, and PayPal while managing AWS services like Amazon S3 and Sentry. Leverage modern JavaScript (ES6) and SASS to build prototypes and production-ready features, ensuring self-management and remote collaboration via Git and GitHub workflows. Requires 5+ years of production experience and a strong opinionated approach to tool selection.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years experience contributing to production applications and teams
- 3 or more years of relevant production experience developing with React, NextJS, and NodeJS
- comfortable with Javascript fundamentals
- ability to whip up a prototype in no time
- comfortable working with MongoDB
- ability to integrate with common APIs including Twilio, Sendgrid, Stripe, PayPal etc
- ability to work on the front-end and the back-end
- experienced with modern JS (ES6) and CSS (SASS)
- comfortable working remotely and being self-managed
- experience with Git and GitHub using related workflows
- ability to express opinions about other languages and when they're the right tool for the job
