Job Summary
Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Worthington Enterprises within Corporate Development. Hybrid role with at least 3 days/week in the Columbus, OH headquarters and occasional travel. Responsibilities include conducting industry, competitor, and market research; building and maintaining financial models; performing valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable company analysis); preparing executive presentations and memoranda; supporting due diligence, transaction execution, and cross-functional coordination; leveraging AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve reporting; assisting with post-transaction integration; and contributing to a collaborative, innovative team culture. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; 3+ years of relevant experience; strong modeling and analytical skills; excellent communication; and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Capital IQ, FactSet, Tableau, or similar tools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in investment banking, corporate development, consulting, strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, transaction advisory, or other analytical business environments
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Capital IQ, FactSet, Tableau, or AI-enabled analytics tools is a plus
- Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and finding smarter ways to work
