Job Summary
Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join Mercyhealth's Rockford, IL program. Core teaching role as part of a 21-resident program, with 50% of time spent precepting residents in clinic and hospital, 30% clinical practice, and 20% administrative and curriculum development. Engage in full-spectrum inpatient and outpatient care, participate in medical student education, and utilize EPIC EMR within an unopposed, community-based program with multi-state reach. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits package available; includes student loan repayment and 403(b) retirement.
Required Qualifications
- Passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field
- MD/DO board certified/board eligible
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to engage in inpatient, outpatient, procedural care and administrative duties
