Job Summary
Conduct senior practicum hours in the Operating Room at Mercy St. Louis Hospital as part of the Earn as You Learn Program, working alongside a dedicated Mercy Nurse. Perform duties in circulating and scrub roles across service lines including General Surgery, Gyn, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT. Complete a 5-month residency with classroom didactics, online modules, and hands-on clinical practice, followed by a 30-minute call requirement. This 6-month post-graduation contract is for nursing students completing their final practicum at participating schools.
Required Qualifications
- MUST accept an RN residency in the Operating Room to qualify
- 6-month contract post-graduation is required
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
- BLS required
- Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation
