Job Summary
Conduct senior practicum hours in the Operating Room at Mercy St. Louis Hospital, working alongside a dedicated nurse while earning a stipend. Complete a five-month residency program including classroom didactics, online modules, and hands-on clinical practice across general surgery, gyn, specialty, and ENT service lines. Transition into a specialty mentorship after graduation with a mandatory six-month contract. Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm with a 30-minute call requirement. Must accept an RN residency to qualify and secure a current Missouri RN license with BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- MUST accept an RN residency in the Operating Room to qualify
- 6-month contract post-graduation is required
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
- BLS required
- Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation
