Job Summary
Lead the anesthesia department at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center as the primary liaison between NorthStar, hospital administration, and staff. Assure ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures guiding medical staff services. Provide medical leadership, clinical oversight, and patient care across cardiac, vascular, kidney transplants, GI, general, OB/GYN, neuro, orthopedics, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, and pediatrics cases. Manage a 17-hour in-house call rotation split among nine physicians for high-risk OB, Level 3 Neonatal ICU, and trauma.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Director Anesthesiologist
- Level 1 Trauma center experience
- Cardiac Fellowship
- 17 hour in house call split between 9 physicians
- 11 weeks PTO
- Sign on bonus eligible
