Job Summary
Full-time NICU residency program in Mercy St. Louis’ Level IV NICU for new graduate RNs. The 16-week Nurse Residency Fellowship provides hands-on training and mentorship in a collaborative, family-centered environment to help you transition into professional practice. The role includes night shifts (36 hours/week) with shift differential, day-one benefits (medical, dental, vision), and support for career advancement (RN to BSN Bridge program up to $16,000 and RN Loan Forgiveness up to $20,000 over 4.5 years). Candidates should hold a nursing degree (BSN preferred), be eligible for or hold an active MO RN license or compact state license within 90 days of graduation, and possess BLS certification. January 2027 residency with a strong emphasis on growth and confidence in neonatal patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
- Experience: Patient Care Tech experience preferred
- License: Current RN license in Missouri or compact state, or eligible to obtain within 90 days of graduation
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must graduate within 12 months of hire to qualify
