Job Summary
Mercy St. Louis NICU offers a 16-week Nurse Residency Fellowship for new graduate RNs in a Level IV NICU. The role provides hands-on training and mentorship, night-shift differential, day-one benefits (medical/dental/vision), and support programs including RN-to-BSN bridge and loan forgiveness. Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred) and an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state (or eligibility within 90 days of graduation); BLS required. This full-time residency position begins January 2027 in Affton, MO, with a focus on transitioning new graduates into professional neonatal practice within Mercy’s family-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
- Experience: Patient Care Tech experience preferred
- License: Current RN license in Missouri or compact state, or eligible to obtain within 90 days of graduation
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
- Shift: Full-Time | 36 Hours/Week | Night Shift
- Residency: 16-week Nurse Residency Fellowship for new graduates
