Job Summary
Join Mercy Retirement and Care Center as a Community Coordinator & Driver, responsible for grocery deliveries for senior programs. Must have valid driver's license, 1+ year driving experience, and knowledge of food safety standards. Full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and maintain a clean, insurable driving record
- Previous experience as a driver; comfortable driving 14 to 20 ft. commercial trucks
- Knowledge of food safety standards and safe practices within a warehouse environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to navigate challenging conversations with external partners and volunteers
- Basic math skills required to calculate portion allotments
- Completion of a background check, drug screening, and other pre-employment screenings
Desired Qualifications
- Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22
- Forklift operation experience
- Proficient in using GPS and routing systems
- Experience using manual or electric pallet jacks
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Must pass necessary background checks and drug screenings
