Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Test & Treatment for pediatric patients. Provides and oversees high-quality patient care, coordinates across departments, involves patients and families in care decisions and education, develops and documents individualized care plans, conducts safe handoffs (SBAR, bedside report), communicates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, interprets diagnostic and lab data, delegates to LPNs and support staff within scope, participates in quality improvement and professional development, and upholds patient rights and Mercy’s values. Requires graduation from an accredited RN program and an active RN license in the state of practice, with BLS within 30 days of hire; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, etc.) may be required based on unit needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (or compact) in the state of practice
- BLS (required within 30 days of hire)
