Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Test & Treatment for Mercy Kids pediatrics. Provide and oversee high-quality patient care for assigned pediatric patients; coordinate care across departments; involve patients and families in care decisions and education; develop and document individualized care plans with goals and outcomes; perform safe, structured handoffs (SBAR, bedside report); communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; interpret diagnostic and lab data to inform care decisions; delegate and guide LPNs and support staff within scope of practice; participate in quality improvement, training, and professional development initiatives; uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy’s values in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (or compact) in the state of practice
- BLS (required within 30 days of hire)
