Merchant Training Representative

Job Summary
Train merchants on POS equipment and functions, accept and handle incoming/outgoing calls to set up and download equipment, and ensure equipment operates correctly. Review orders for accuracy, create orders for new merchants or equipment swaps, train merchants on functions, and resolve escalated technical issues. Manage multiple ticket queues, track daily work items, and stay current with product/industry changes. Communicate effectively to internal/external customers and present technical information clearly; success hinges on organization, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Basic proficiency with computers (browsers, email, MS Office)
- Ability to speak clearly and listen actively
- Capable of handling multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Basic call center experience or customer service
- Knowledge of credit card processing or POS equipment is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial
