Job Summary
Strategic and analytical Merchant / Buyer to manage product categories across omni-channel sales platforms. Responsibilities include developing and executing category merchandising strategies, Open-to-Buy forecasting and inventory planning, vendor relationship management and negotiation, and collaboration with marketing, web, and sales teams to drive category growth and profitability. Analyze sales performance, optimize product assortment, monitor website performance and customer experience across product categories, and develop promotional strategies to support sustainable growth. Requires strong merchandising or buying experience, Open-to-Buy expertise, data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with Excel and web analytics tools.
Required Qualifications
- Merchandising / buying experience in retail, e-commerce, or omni-channel environments
- Strong knowledge of Open-to-Buy planning, forecasting, and inventory management
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into strategy
- Vendor management and negotiation experience
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and sales teams
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with web performance metrics (Google Analytics, Omniture, or similar tools) preferred
