Job Summary
Merchandising Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts responsible for keeping the front showroom stocked, fronted, and clean, performing sales-prep tasks, greeting customers, guiding them to merchandise or to a parts specialist, and maintaining in-display and pricing standards. Duties include stocking, price labeling, planogram updates, sale material removal after promotions, assisting with inventory tasks, and occasionally acting as cashier or driving a delivery vehicle when needed. Bilingual ability (Spanish highly desired) and driving eligibility are valued, with emphasis on teamwork, organization, and ensuring a professional store presentation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Occasional cashier duties or ability to drive a delivery vehicle when needed
- Driving record must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Change displays according to company guidelines
- Update planograms and price labels as required
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Support store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks
- Maintain front showroom appearance and stock presentation
- Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise
