Merchandising Specialist I

Job Summary
Partner with category managers, brands, and distributors to execute product launches, deal management, and discontinuations while ensuring accurate ad item entries in retail studio and softproofing. Serve as the liaison for product stakeholders, collect and review deal contracts, and create buildups for weekly and monthly ads to track promotional funding. Support store teams with product inquiries and ticket reviews, assist in coordinating new product roll-outs, and contribute to item scorecarding for differentiation and quality. Develop merchandising plans that drive category growth and communicate key initiatives via ad directives. Manage ad hoc projects and reports to support category and department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Supermarket Grocery experience
- Two (2) years of experience related to retail purchasing, marketing and/or merchandising
- Experience in Microsoft Suite
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
