Job Summary
Own the end-to-end merchandising and product management for fashion jewelry and hair accessories, including planning seasonal assortments, developing SKU strategies, and negotiating pricing with factories. Manage purchase orders, track production timelines, and forecast demand to align inventory with sales cycles and promotions. Own product data across e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate setup of SKUs, variants, and attributes while optimizing assortment and pricing based on performance analysis. Lead planning meetings with sales to review market feedback and improve buying workflows. This solo manager-level role requires 4+ years of experience in merchandising or e-commerce, proficiency in Excel, and strong negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or e-commerce merchandising
- Experience with fashion accessories, hair accessories, or similar categories
- Proven factory or vendor negotiation experience
- Strong understanding of margins, costing, and inventory planning
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Highly organized and comfortable working independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing large SKU counts and variant-heavy assortments
- Familiarity with marketplaces such as Amazon, Faire, or FashionGo
- Experience working with overseas factories
- Chinese (Mandarin) or Spanish speaking
