Job Summary
As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you’ll ensure signage, pricing, and displays are accurate and visually appealing to help customers locate products. You’ll create product displays, update wayfinding and signage, verify pricing, and assist in locating or handling merchandise. You’ll complete merchandising resets, prep buyback items, stage clearance products, and support add-on sales by arranging displays throughout the store. You may engage with customers when opportunities arise, answer questions about products or warranties, and communicate project priorities with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager. You’ll analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service, and you may perform other duties as assigned. Physical tasks include lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions; power equipment and hand tools familiarity is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment (preferred)
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays (preferred)
