Job Summary
Merchandising Services Associate drives in-store merchandising by completing merchandising resets, updating signage and pricing, ensuring displays are safe, clean, and visually appealing, and assisting customers when opportunities arise. Responsibilities include verifying buyback items are prepped for shipping, updating wayfinding and signage, driving add-on sales through strategic product placement, and communicating project priorities to Merchandising Services Team and Manager. The role requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds (team lifts as needed), sit/stand for long periods, and use web-based tools for task tracking and signage maintenance. The position offers a part-time schedule with potential weekend work and opportunities for growth through Lowe's benefits and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws)
