Job Summary
Merchandising Services Associate at Lowe's supports the Merchandising Services Team in creating safe, visually appealing product displays, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, updating wayfinding information, and completing merchandising resets and related projects. Responsibilities include staging displays, assisting customers when opportunities arise, verifying buyback items, maintaining product locations, replacing price labels, driving add-on sales through strategic merchandising of clearance products, and communicating priorities and progress with the team and manager. Required skills include basic arithmetic, clear verbal communication, ability to work standing for extended periods, ability to lift up to 25 pounds (with or without accommodation), and proficiency with web-based tools; preferred background includes experience with planograms, product merchandising tasks, and operating basic power/tools equipment. Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
- Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, and digital maintenance of this information throughout the store
- Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace any missing price labels
- Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products and ensuring displays are placed appropriately
- Repair/replace damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise and displays
- Communicate project priorities, schedule, and needs with Merchandising Services Team and Manager
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service
- Complete other duties as assigned
