Job Summary
Conduct merchandising resets, verify buyback items, and update signage and pricing information throughout the store. Create safe, clean, and visually appealing product displays while staging clearance products to drive add-on sales. Repair or replace damaged merchandise and signage, and communicate project priorities and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager. Analyze metrics to provide feedback on project execution and in-store service. Maintain accurate digital maintenance of wayfinding and product location data. Ensure all price labels are clearly visible and replace missing ones. Engage with customers to answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise when opportunities arise.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in both inside and outside weather conditions
- Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions
- Exposure to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment
- Follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds
- Use proper training or assistance from a trained coworker for powered equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Lowe's sales floor experience
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)
- Bilingual
- Military
- Veteran
