Job Summary
Merchandising Services Associate at Lowe's focuses on keeping store signage, pricing, and displays accurate and accessible. Responsibilities include completing merchandising resets and related projects, verifying buyback items for shipping, updating wayfinding and product signage, ensuring price labels are visible, and staging clearance products to drive add-on sales. The role involves creating safe, visually appealing displays, assisting customers when opportunities arise, communicating project priorities to the Merchandising Services Team and Manager, and analyzing in-store metrics for feedback. Candidates should be able to read and follow planograms, perform basic arithmetic, hear and communicate clearly, use web-based tools, and lift up to 25 lbs (with accommodations as needed). Weekend shifts may be required. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to Lowe's standards, with opportunities for growth and development through programs like Track to the Trades and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Preferred qualifications include Lowe's sales floor experience, experience with planograms, and experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers
