Job Summary
As a Merchandising Services Associate at Lowe's, you will ensure store signage, pricing, and displays are accurate and appealing, create eye-catching product displays, verify price labels, update wayfinding and signage, help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, and support in-store service. You may assist customers when opportunities arise, communicate project priorities with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager, and complete merchandising resets and related tasks according to Lowe's specifications. The role requires basic arithmetic, the ability to read and follow planograms, lifting up to 75 pounds with team lifts as needed, and the use of web-based tools to accomplish tasks; standing and/or sitting for long periods is expected, with exposure to indoor/outdoor conditions and variable climates. The position offers a part-time schedule with potential weekend work, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Lowe's.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Experience with price labeling and signage is a plus
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks and reading planograms is preferred
- Familiarity with tools and power equipment (hand tools, drills, saws) is a plus
- Ability to engage with customers when opportunities arise
- Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor environmental conditions
