Job Summary
Conduct merchandising resets, verify buyback items, and update signage and pricing information according to specifications. Create safe, clean displays that showcase in-demand products while listening to customers and answering questions about warranties or locating merchandise. Repair damaged items and stage clearance products to drive add-on sales, then communicate project priorities with the Merchandising Services Team. Analyze metrics to provide feedback on project execution and complete other duties as assigned. This part-time role involves set weekday schedules with weekends kept free, though live nursery staff may work weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in both inside and outside weather conditions
- Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions
- Exposure to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment
- Follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds
- Use proper training or assistance from a trained coworker for powered equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Lowe's sales floor experience
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)
- Bilingual
- Military
- Veteran
